How to Install prelink software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

prelink software package provides ELF prelinking utility to speed up dynamic linking, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install prelink

prelink is installed in your system.

Make ensure the prelink package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep prelink *

You will get with prelink package name, version, architecture and description in a table
